Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program;
- can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence; and
- do not hold another scholarship that the Head considers to be similar in the year of the award.

You'll need:
- a personal statement (of no more than 500 words) outlining:
- your background and circumstances
- your financial needs
- your attempts to mitigate or overcome your difficulties
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc.

Selection criteria
We'll consider:
- demonstrated financial need
- strength of your personal statement demonstrating how the scholarship will assist the completion of your studies.
- any other matter the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in your study.
About this scholarship
Established in 2025 by a gift from Alumni Friends under their Diamond Jubilee initiative to support scholarships for students facing financial hardship. Scholarships such as this will ultimately help build a stronger and more resilient allied health workforce across Queensland.
